Remote-control benchmark

Latency comparison

P50 is the average result; P95 and P99 show how often lag spikes appear. Lower ms is better. Every method used the same high-end setup: iPhone 17 Pro Max, MacBook Pro, same network, and native 3456x2234 quality whenever the app supported it. Some apps ran below native quality, which makes their latency lower than it would be at native quality.

Test bed: same iPhone 17 Pro Max, same MacBook Pro, same Wi-Fi/LAN, full-resolution 3456x2234 Retina source. * Frame-captured visible resolution when an app does not expose decoded receive resolution.
Benchmarked in May 2026 on the same iPhone-to-Mac setup. Each method used the same visual timing test and could use LAN when supported. Symbols use dedicated app/site marks.
